What You Will Learn:

This introductory pre‑apprenticeship program prepares individuals with little or no experience for entry‑level positions as apprentice welders across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, transportation, resource extraction, and resource development. Students learn the theoretical principles of welding and gain extensive hands‑on experience in shop sessions, where they develop practical skills such as cutting, fusion welding, and gas welding. Through this training, learners build the foundational knowledge and abilities required to begin working safely and effectively in the welding trade and to pursue apprenticeship opportunities in the welding industry.
