What is Youth TRAIN in Trades?

Students can receive credits towards their high school diploma and at least one level of technical training by attending trades training classes at local high schools, post-secondary institutions, or SkilledTradesBC-certified training facilities. 

Get a head-start in trades training! This youth program is perfect for those looking to build their skills and experience in a specific trade while attending high school. SkilledTradesBC and the BC Ministry of Education and Child Care (ECC) teamed up to offer funding for students to complete their technical training while still in high school.
