What You Will Learn:
This program is designed for students with little or no experience in the automotive collision repair trades and equips them with the practical and theoretical skills needed to begin working as apprentices in the industry. Following SkilledTradesBC’s Automotive Collision and Refinishing Common Core Level 1 curriculum, the program introduces students to key areas of collision repair and refinishing with a strong focus on developing hands‑on abilities in safety, tool use, surface preparation, component removal and installation, welding, and the application of paints and finishes. Students train with state‑of‑the‑art equipment and techniques used in modern repair and restoration shops, gaining the foundational skills required to pursue careers in either automotive collision repair or refinishing.

What You Can Expect:
Tuition-free (fees paid by SD83) enrollment in a full-time post-secondary program. 36-weeks (1080 hours). Students attend full-time (September-June, Mon-Fri, 7AM-4PM) at Okanagan College's KELOWNA campus. Students are responsible for getting themselves to/from campus.
