What You Will Learn:

This program provides knowledge and skills necessary to service computers and support users of infrastructure and computing technology systems. Training covers a variety of topics including hardware installation and configuration, basic networking, operating systems and help desk techniques. Students also study theory of computers systems hardware and software components and develop the practical skills through hands-on training and troubleshooting techniques that address wide ranging issues.


What You Can Expect:

Students participate in a mix of online, in-person at OC Kelowna Campus, and blended formats (using tools like Moodle) to learn both the required theory and practical skills.

What You Will Earn:

    • 8 grade 12 credits towards graduation (2 courses)
    • Micro-credential upon completion

  • Prerequisites:
    • English 12 (minimum 60%)
    • Be on-track to graduate.
  • Program Length:
    • 150-hours (Jan/Feb-June)
  • Program Dates:
    • Apply in March for January intake
