The Tech Sampler introduces learners to the world of information technology and computer science.

The Tech Sampler is an introduction to the world of information technology and computer science. Students learn foundational skills in two key areas in the growing technology sector — IT Essentials and Introduction to Coding.
What You Need to Know:
- The Sampler Program is open to students in grades 10-12.
- You must apply in the Spring (March) to be eligible for the Fall intake.
- The program takes approximately 4-5 months to complete.
- You will earn 4 grade 12 elective credits towards graduation upon completion.
- You will attend OC Salmon Arm & Vernon campus virtually two evenings per week (from 5:00pm - 8:30pm). Topic 1: IT Essentials. Topic 2: Intro to Coding.
