What You Will Learn:
The Engineering sampler program introduces students to four key engineering fields: Mechanical, Civil, Electronic and Water Engineering technology, through a blend of interactive learning and hands-on activities. Students explore problem-solving strategies and real-world applications across disciplines like building structures, designing machines, managing resources, or working with electronics this program provides an introduction to possibilities with the field of engineering.
What You Need to Know:
- The Sampler Program is open to students in grades 10-12.
- You must apply in the Spring (March) to be eligible for the Fall intake.
- The program takes approximately 4 months to complete.
- You will earn 12 high-school grade 12 credits towards graduation.
- You will attend OC VERNON campus two evenings per week (and some Saturdays). Some online learning is required, and field trips are included.
