SD83 & UBC Team Up on Agricultural Careers

Are you interested in food, biology, land use or animal welfare? SD 83 Careers and UBC’s Faculty of Land and Food Systems are offering a virtual seminar to individual students and classroom teachers next month.

Two student ambassadors from UBC-Vancouver will be explaining their educational journey in the agriculture program, what content is involved with this degree and the certain jobs available to young people once they graduate from the program. The seminar will take place on Tuesday, March 12th between 9:30-10:35 AM.

Interested students need to bring in a parent permission form for Block “C” first before they are individually registering for the event. They can get these forms at their school’s career centre. Classroom teachers can handle the registration themselves if they are showing this event to their class.
