SD83 Students Learn about Green Careers

School District 83, along with the Council of Forest Industries and Project Learning Tree, will be hosting a province-wide virtual seminar later this month exploring forestry and conservation careers.

The event will take place on Wednesday, November 29th at 12:50PM. Four industry professionals will share with the students their career journeys, the courses and programs taken in high school and post-secondary, different career opportunities and describe a day in the life in their field. Guest speakers include a registered forester and a trades person.

Students can choose to attend virtually themselves by registering and receiving the link at their neighbour school’s career office or there may be a teacher within the school that may wish to log onto the session for the whole class to view.
