SD83 Parents as Career Coaches
Parents have long been a guide to assist their children into the world of work and future education. Now, SD83 parents can attend a virtual session to help them help their kids.
SD83 and EducationPlannerBC are teaming up to host a workshop next Wednesday, October 11th to help parents learn more how you navigate the educational landscape for further post secondary education. The session will run from 6:30-8PM. The workshop is gear for Grades 10-12 students and their parents but parents of younger students are welcome to attend as well.
Topics to be discuss include learning about program admission requirements and application dates for some post-secondary institutions, cost of programs and learning about different resources you can use through EducationPlannerBC.
