SD83 Celebrating BC Career Education Week

SD83 Careers is ready with events and activities to recognize the 2nd Annual BC Career Education Week within the K-12 public school system this November 24th-28th. One of these events involve learning about different resources to help students explore careers in STEM.

On Tuesday, November 26th at 6PM, SD83 Careers and "Let's Talk Science" host a province-wide virtual seminar called "Shaping the Future: Navigating STEM Careers for the Next Generation". Let’s Talk Science is a national charitable organization committed to preparing youth for evolving career and citizenship demands by providing programs and resources to build engagement towards STEM. The event is targeted for all K-12 parents and students on how they can learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math careers while building skills outside of the classroom for some of those careers.
