Lights, Camera, Careers!

One of the more glamourous career industries will be highlighted to SD83 students and others across the province later this month.

SD 83 Careers and Creative BC are offering a virtual seminar on motion picture and TV careers to individual students and teachers with their class on Tuesday, April 29th. There will be a number of guest presenters explaining their journey to their motion picture careers, schooling they took and what they do in their jobs. Jobs highlighted in the event include: Editor, Camera Operator, Producer, Make Up Artist, Voice Actor and Driver. 

An unlimited number of students are welcome to this event which can be done through the registration of an interested class or through individuals that may wish to take this in. Students can register by going to their high school’s career office to pick up a permission form first and then registering.
