Friday Morning Career Fair at JLJ
Dozens of Grade 10 JL Jackson students were able to learn different jobs in a mini career fair in the school’s library.
The students were able to talk with people from Interior Health, Roots & Blues, RCMP, the University of Victoria, the Salmon Arm Fire Department and an investment specialist.
This is only a taste of what SD83 students can expect when it comes to a career fairs in our area. SD83, the Neskonlith Indian Band, Work BC and Okanagan College are working on a large youth job/career fair to take place on Tuesday April 9th at Salmon Arm Secondary. More details of this event will be released in the new year.
