Breaking News: Broadcast Communication Careers Featured with SD83

SD83 students can learn more about careers in the digital storytelling industry in a couple of weeks.

SD83 Careers, in conjunction with BCIT’s Broadcast and Media Department, will be outlining the interesting careers in this industry on Wednesday, December 13th between 2:15-3:30PM. The virtual presentation will feature jobs suchs as journalism, video editing, radio dj and TV and video production. Guest presenters include Taya Fast, video journalist with Global Okanagan, CFJC video journalist Adam Donnelly and Pure Country 105.7 morning show host Turner Gentry.

Students interested in being part of the seminar can contact their school’s career coordinator to get a permission slip and the link to the event. Teachers can also have their class join the live event by getting the link from their career coordinator.
