SD83 students have an opportunity to learn how to help manage their money from a financial expert. SD83 Careers, the Canadian Federation of Economic Education (CFEE) and Investors Group are sponsoring a province-wide virtual workshop on May 8th at 7PM. This event flows from the a virtual session the CFEE conducted earlier this month with parents and another event done in person in Salmon Arm in November.
The free workshop will discuss topics like budgeting, spending and saving money and how to use certain financial tools to help them towards their goals. There are also prizes offered for those student who do participate.
